Beauty Queen
I joined a beauty contest: The 10th Annual Miss British Columbian Gay Latin competition. I was trained for more than a month by drag queens on the art of walking in heals, how to give vague answers that sound smart, making your own dresses, how to look good in a swim suit, and everything else that is needed for a beauty queen. To my surprise I ended up winning the contest and became the crowned queen for 2009!
